GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE ENSEMBLE
The Berks Vocal Jazz ensemble is much smaller than County and District Choir. We are looking for students who are committed to the ensemble and will be able to attend all of the rehearsals and the performance.

Rehearsals
  • Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 9 a.m.-12 noon at Kutztown Middle School
  • Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 9 a.m.-12 noon at Kutztown Middle School

Students must work on the music on their own. You must learn pitch and rhythms prior to the January 7th rehearsal.
These two rehearsals do not provide adequate time to learn parts.

Performance
Students must keep their calendars open the week of March 23- April 1. That is the week of Jazz Fest, when we will be scheduled to perform. You will learn of the exact dates for that weekend as soon as they become available.
